Badminton England & Hertfordshire County Vice President Paul Widdicombe recently made an award to Matthew Widdicombe for 100 senior county appearances for Hertfordshire.
At the Ware Badminton Club Annual General Meeting, to an audience of over thirty club members, Paul highlighted Matthew’s senior county career that started in 2011 as a fifteen year old in a match against Suffolk.
Matthew 28 years old and a Knebworth resident is also the current coach to the University of Hertfordshire Students at the Herts Sports Village in Hatfield.
