In general, as you will see from the list of funders, below, funding is mostly for voluntary organisations such as clubs, or County Associations, such as Herts Badminton Association, and Community Badminton Networks. This, perhaps encourages, clubs to think of applying for their members in terms of club development.
Funding to attend coaching courses – The Ray Learney Fund
In memory of Ray Learney, who provided many coaching sessions for players of all ages and abilities, funding is available through Herts Badminton for players who need assistance to fund their coaching course. Funds are limited and preference will be given to young people living in Hertfordshire who have difficulty in paying the full coaching fee. Applications for a grant towards the cost of attending a coaching course should be made to Colin Walker, HBA Treasurer, at 9, Valley Close, Hertford, Herts, SG13 8BD, or via email to: colin.walker4@ntlworld.com
